o many beautiful memories come to mind when I think of John. In his earlier years, he brought people together through music as a concert promoter, helping create events like Alberta Jam I, II, and III. Promoting bands with incredible talent like, ZZ Top, The Charlie Daniels Band and Cheap Trick. That concert was John’s first date with Carmen and his way of trying to make an impression. That was John, generous, spirited, and full of life.
