A Song I Had to Revisit

Everywhere I Go began on an autumn walk with my Pop, with falling leaves and a quiet moment that sparked a piano riff in my head. When I got home, I went straight to the piano and played it.

The music came easily, but I needed help with the lyrics. My sister, Carmen Sylva Lindsay, lyricist, singer, and songwriter (Angels, Rita MacNeil), found the perfect words, and I’m forever grateful.

This recording features the voices of Mila Marie and her sister Klarakins, both talented artists and former piano students of mine, whose music can be found on all major platforms.

The song is about feeling close to someone even when you can’t see them anymore. My Pop passed away in 2018, but I feel him everywhere I go. Re-recording my vocals and piano with John Thiel at Horizon Studios, where music truly turns into magic, has made the experience even more special.
