My Christmas Time
Back in 2009, maybe 2010, I went searching for a Christmas song that spoke gently to people who feel a little alone during the holidays. December is often wrapped in stories of big gatherings and loud laughter, but not everyone lives inside that picture. At the time, I certainly didn’t, and that feeling became the spark.
What I wanted to create was something honest and warm. A song that made room for both joy and tenderness, for smiles and memories, for the quiet spaces that sometimes show up in December. A reminder that Christmas isn’t measured by crowded rooms or full tables, but by the hope, love, and kindness we carry within us.
This song became a small offering of encouragement. A soft voice saying: you are not forgotten. Even in stillness, even in solitude, the light of Christmas finds its way to us, often shining brightest when we need it most.
Merry Christmas
